Before you being, prepare a list of at least 5 "Must Haves", and

"Absolutely Nots". Then make copies of the lists and carry them with you

as you view the new properties. The lists can serve as a scorecard/rating sheet

of properties you visit.

Also, concentrate on the things that cannot be changed, such as the location,

lot size, neighborhood, schools, floor plan, view. The color and decorating

can be easily changed. The others not. Don’t be easily swayed by the Seller’s

decorating skills, or lack thereof.
