Home Buying Tip #10

Consider a Home Warranty Plan, which is a service contract,

normally for one year for about $345 - $405, which protects homeowners

against the cost of repairs on systems and appliances that break

down due to normal wear and tear.  The contract has a deductible

($50, $75 or $100) for each house call.  The contract does not

cover pre-existing conditions.  That means that if the water heater

did not work prior to closing, the insurance will not cover the repair,

replacement of the broken water heater.

One client I know received more than $1,600 in replacement

and repair services from his HSA home warranty.  Ask your

REALTORr about it.
